Joanna has worked as a Specialist Study Skills Tutor for over 12 years, providing support for students at a number of universities: The Open University, London Metropolitan University, University of West London, SOAS University of London, University of Hertfordshire, Oxford Brooks University, University of Bedfordshire, University of Northampton, Ruskin College Oxford. She is an associate member of the Dyslexia Guild.
Previously, working in Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) at The Open University, Joanna held a Student Services Management role in which she contributed to the creation of a three tier IAG service.
She has also held adult education teaching and support roles at Milton Keynes Adult Continuing Education, Milton Keynes College and 'Wicked Smart Tuition' providing English and Spanish tuition in one to one and class sessions, and supporting disabled students.

Hi, I'm Yassmine, I'm an experienced CELTA qualified English tutor, with a bachelors degree in media and communication. I have a creative background, having worked at the Hong Kong Design Institute, as an English tutor; Rinse FM, as a radio producer; and for popular culture magazines Azeema, as a journalist. I teach adults and children through creative online workshop sessions.
